Seven days!!!!

Today is day 15 and I am doing OK. I still feel strong urges to feed the beast but resisting.

Since I am retired and my wife works full time, I have a lot of time on my hands; so I try to fill my days with useful activities that take a lot of time.

Also, the Catholic website PornNoMore.com is very helpful. In addition, I am planning to go to confession tomorrow afternoon so I am doing a detailed examination of conscience to be prepared. It has been several months since I was able to go to Eucharist because of the mortal sins on my soul and now that I am firmly committed to abstaining from P and M, I can honestly say I can make a real act of contrition.

Sound like you are doing OK - that's really great. I'm a day off week 7 and doing OK. My challenge over the past couple of days is that I have been far too slack when it comes to bouncing the eyes and MC stuff in general. I know with absolute certainty that this is a clear warning that I need to shore up the dam walls or pay the consequences. Withdrawal symptoms can be tough at times and I miss the 'buzz' p gives. The sad thing is just how quickly I have forgotten the damage the beast has caused in the past; there simply is no logic to this thing at all.
